Celebrating Women of Distinction Since 1997

Objective: To recognize women living and working in eastern South Carolina who have demonstrated qualities of outstanding leadership, and excellence in their personal and professional endeavors, and are role models for girls.

Awards Criteria: Individuals, businesses or community organizations may submit nominations for one or more adults. The criteria on which nominees are evaluated include, but may not be limited to:

• Achievement
• Challenges experienced
• Leadership
• Impact on the community
• Special talent or expertise
• Unique endeavors

Up to eight award recipients will be chosen by a volunteer committee. Please ensure that your nominee is able to attend the Women of Distinction Gala at the South Carolina Aquarium on May 10, 2010.
